Here at Pouch Self Storage – Anaheim, we not only remember our regular tenants by name but their unit number as well. This particular trade craft came in very handy one day last week. One of tenants arrived in a big pick-up truck and I recognized her immediately. I knew she was coming in to make a payment as per our discussion from the day before. As I logged onto her account, she was trying to negotiate her vehicle into the parking space. No go. So, she just parked it right in the middle of the parking lot. I saw she was in a hurry. She rushed into the office and said, “ I’m in a hurry and need to make a payment. “ Her account was already on screen, I processed her payment and she was out the door in 50 seconds. She ran out the door saying thank you on the way. She said, “ You guys are the best! “

We have a young man who has been with us here a Pasadena for 4 years. He and his wife have been trying to have a baby for over 7 years. Several months ago he decided to buy himself a toy , a Mercedes “ with all the extras”, well they found out in December 2014 that they were pregnant and they shared with us in the first week in February. And they just had their ultrasound and found they are having a “BOY “we were the 2 ^nd individuals they had told about their great news. Oh, the Mercedes is now up for sale

We had a little excitement here at Pouch Self Storage – Anaheim on Sunday. One of our tenants came in and told us there are 3 small chemical containers near a tree in front of our facility. We went to investigate and found all 3 looked suspicious and were leaking. It was very close to the sidewalk that kids use all day. We returned to the office and notified the authorities. We believe it was better to be safe than sorry. The dispatcher said, “We’ll send someone out right away.” A few moments later, 3 police cars and a fire truck arrived at the scene. They taped off the area, took pictures and looked up the name on the containers with their Smartphones. Soon after, another fire vehicle arrived with 2 men to investigate further. They carefully placed all the containers in the truck and left the scene. The other emergency vehicles followed. The fireman thanked us for the call. We were just doing what we thought best for our community.

We have a tenant who has been with us for quite some time, they now have three large units. He said he is finally moving out because his business has been growing and he needed a much bigger space with an office. So we told him that we have another sister facility that could probably work for him. He however, needed it here in Fountain Valley. He said that we have provided him great customer service and his business did very well while renting with us. He added that he already talked with another tenant to rent the units that he is vacating from. The other tenant is also a long term tenant and his business has been growing as well. We’re so glad to know that we have very satisfied tenants that the word spreads out and we’re always happy to know that they are moving forward with their business and not just moving out.

Our tenants were very happy that we have 3 bay doors , to load or unload their belongings. We were very busy that day and we had total 13 truck moves for the month of February 2015 (compare to 2 truck moves in February 2014)

Another beautiful day here in Rancho Cucamonga, customers are filling their propane tanks to barbeque and seemingly the weather is keeping everyone smiling.​

Periodically, at Pouch Self Storage Anaheim, we call our past and current clients and ask about what they think or remember about our facility, operations and staff. One of our past Latin tenants commented on how she appreciated that the staff made every effort to speak Spanish to her. Even though English is the first language for the 3 managers, she felt she was valued as customer and her culture was respected. She has referred many of her friends to our facility because of the way she treated as more than just a customer. We provide excellent customer service in any language. Gracias!

28 years of experience really helped Victoria yesterday when a new customer was stuck in their R.V. space with no room to get in or out. As the customer came in huffing and puffing in frustration at the R.V.’s betwixted position Judy stepped in, hopped on the cart and went to help. Judy guided them into the spot not without challenge, however successfully and safely. The customer took the pouch brochure out of his pocket and said ” See now I know your secret phrase is true! Quality and service you can count on!”

We are very happy to announce, our marketing banner is proudly displayed next to freeway where lots of people will be able to see it daily. Funny, while we were installing it, several passerby’s began, honking & waiving at us. Thank you Yelland Properties Inc. for helping us get the permit information to the city early enough to advertise it before the weekend.

We have had many musicians in the store with us over the years. They have played with a wide range of artists from Barbara Streisand to the Elm Tree Blues Society. “Where the only dues you pay is the Blues you play”. This week we rented to someone that played with Luciano Poriarotti no less!
