POUCH Happening | Farewells
At Pouch Self Storage – Anaheim, we occasionally have tenants that have to move away. Our facility provided them a safe and secure place for their belongings till a new home was found. During their tenancy here, we established very positive relationships with them. As time goes by, we learned a great deal about their work, their families and sometimes their dreams. To us, they are more than tenants. They are our friends. One of our tenants vacated recently and said they will miss us. We always made them laugh when they came on site. He said he will always refer anyone he knows that needs storage to us. We will welcome any potential client as a new friend.

POUCH Happening | Why We Stand Out
We received a call from a potential tenant who has been shopping around to get a good price on his storage unit. One of us answered the phone and the caller was very direct as to what he wanted and also showed some frustration about shopping around for the best place to store his belongings. Well he ended up renting with us. Bottom line, it is about knowing our tenant’s needs and offering them the best service that made us stand out as storage specialist. This was confirmed by the tenant and he agreed by writing a very detailed story of why he rented with us on yelp.

POUCH Happening | Hug-A-Vet
Like many storage facilities, here at Pouch Pasadena we have a few homeless people who are customers. We are very fortunate to have a tenant that heads a non-profit organization that helps feed the less fortunate, on major holidays. And this Veterans Day 11/11/14 they provided a clinic for vets to have a one-on-one meeting with a psychiatrist, free of charge. Hug-A-Vet!

How to Maximize the Space in Your Home
Is your home starting to feel cluttered, cramped, or just disorganized? Regardless of how large your home or office is, it’s easy for your belongings to start taking over more of your space. Clothing, furnishings, accessories, office equipment and more can begin to occupy space that was once open, which can make your house feel less welcoming to you and your guests. In order to maximize the space in your home , it may be a good idea to rent a self-storage unit where you can keep things that you won’t need for a few months at a time. Read on to learn about more ways to maximize the space in your home.
In the Kitchen
Your kitchen is the center of activity in your home, so it’s important for it to be spacious and well organized. Use the room’s vertical space to maximize storage areas—for example; you can consider hanging pots and pans above the stove or island instead of stacking them in cabinets, drawers or inside your oven. This will give you more space under your countertops, and help keep clutter from piling up. Consider going through your cabinets to toss or donate old dry goods or canned food you don’t need, also think about installing drawer organizers to keep your kitchen gadgets sorted. In the Bedroom
No matter what size closets you have, your bedroom may tend to get messy before other areas in your home. Instead of shoving out-of-season clothing under the bed or towards the back of the closet, box them up and put them in your self-storage unit where they’ll be out of the way until you need them again. You may also want to minimize the amount of furniture in your bedroom sothatyou can have an open, spacious place to get ready in the morning, and or wind down at the end of the day. Keep just the essentials in your bedroom, and move the extraneous furniture to your storage unit.Your storage unit at POUCH Self Storage in Orange, San Bernardino and Los Angeles County will safely hold the belongings you want to keep but don’t need in your home. POUCH Happening | The Storage Game
We signed up a new tenant last night here at Pouch Self Storage – Anaheim. She did not have a lot to store, mostly storage bins. She was certain a 3×3 would be perfect. When she started to place the bins in her unit, she experienced some difficulty getting them all in. My colleague eagerly offered his assistance and assured her that he would get them all in. About 15 minutes later, they both came back into the office smiling, mission accomplished! She thanked the specialist and asked how he did it. He smiled and said, ” From our training, experience and…I play Tetris. ”
