Identifying the Right Storage Unit Size
Once you have made the decision to get a self-storage unit, your next choice is the unit size. You don’t want to overspend on a unit that is too big for your storage needs, but you also don’t want to risk damaging your items by stuffing them into a storage unit that is simply too small. How do you know which unit size is right for you? POUCH Self Storage, we offer some basic guidelines to help you decide which storage unit would work best for you. If you’re trying to store one room’s worth of belongings, a 192 cubic foot (CF) unit may work. For one-and-a-half room’s worth of belongings, maybe you can upgrade to a 256 CF unit, or a 576 CF unit two to three rooms. Although rare, five rooms of your precious items could fit into an 864 CF unit. Keep in mind, these are only general guidelines.
